Adult Programs Registration

RegPack is your tool for enrolling in Summer Programs and year-round Auxiliary Programs for Adults.

Registration FAQ’s

RegPack is our registration platform for all adult workshops and programs. To register for an adult workshop, create an account or click the blue log-in button to log in with credentials from last year.

Purchase Protection is a service that reimburses you if you need to cancel unexpectedly due to health reasons.

Our refund policy is based on a timeline. In the event you need to cancel a workshop, the date that you cancel will determine the amount Idyllwild Arts is able to refund. The $50 application fee is non-refundable. The Lab Fee is non-refundable if cancellation is within 45 days of the workshop.

  • 90 days prior to the start of workshop: Full refund with exception of 3% service fee plus the $50 Application Fee. 
  • 89- 30 days prior to the start of workshop: 80% refund of cost of program. 
  • 29- 0 days prior to the start of workshop: No refund.

Adult Summer Program FAQ’s

Class sizes may vary depending on the program, but are typically no more than 12 students per instructor. The majority of our Ceramics and metals programs are limited to 10-12 students, while our Writers Week program is limited to 8 students per workshop.

Workshops may also have 1-2 Teaching Assistants to help provide additional support and instruction for the students.

Workshops are offered as weeklong, weekend, and 1 to 3-day workshops. Depending on the program, a workshop will typically start on a Friday, Sunday, or Monday. 

Across all programs, the daily class schedule is typically 9am-4 pm, with a lunch break from 12-1 pm (included in your tuition). Most workshops begin with a program and studio orientation on the first day of class. as well as an all-program orientation and mixer on Sunday evening- and end with a culmination tailored to the specific program.

  • H.O.T. Clay (Ceramics) and Metals Week workshops run Sunday morning – Saturday early afternoon.
  • Writer’s Week, and most Native American art workshops run Monday morning- Friday afternoon.
  • Extended studio hours run from 5pm- 10pm and can be extended to 12 am by reservation with the studio manager.
  • 2D & Mixed Media workshops vary depending on the length of the program, however a 5-day workshop will typically run M-F, while a 1-2 day program will typically run through a weekend.
  • Piano Performance workshop runs Sunday afternoon- Friday afternoon

Outside of class, students can look forward to the following weekly campus events:

  • Monday night Gallery Opening Reception that features faculty work (for sale!) Gallery receptions may be preceded by an artist lecture.
  • Weekly craft talks, artist lectures, and readings.
  • Friday afternoon culminations to showcase your work made during the week!

Yes, on-campus housing is available, but it is limited. Scholarship and Fellowship Recipients receive priority placement for the available housing on campus. You may sign up for housing during the online registration process by selecting ‘Yes’ to the question ‘Are you interested in on-campus housing for the duration of your workshop?’. The Housing and Transportation form will then be added to your account and we ask that you complete it in order to be considered for housing, in addition to paying the cost of the room and board.
