Theatre: Acting & Improv for Young Performers
Improve your improvisation skills, build your confidence and delve into new acting techniques. Using theatre games and exercises, you will work on character development, discover the best audition methods for you, explore melodrama, tragedy, comedy, Shakespeare and more!
Through exercises and activities, you will meet fellow actors and discover the power of play. This workshop is the perfect enhancement to your regular school curriculum.
Dimyana Pelev Dysart is an energetic artist on stage, behind the scenes and in the classroom. Dimyana is on the theatre faculty at Idyllwild Arts and Chaffey College and serves as co-director of Stars of Tomorrow Children’s Theatre. She has studied at LAMDA, New London Theatre, and holds a B.A. in Theatre Arts from the University of Redlands with an emphasis on directing and children’s theatre and an M.A. in Theatre Directing from Regent University.
