This weekly class incorporates a yoga-based movement warm-up, traveling sequences, center combinations and improvisation. Dancers of all levels and abilities are welcome to join the class. Renowned dancer, choreographer and educator Stephanie Gilliland, currently an IAA Dance Faculty member, will lead the classes. Come explore the joy of movement, and/or renew your dance practice!

Tuition:
Full semester – 14 dance lessons – $140 (no classes 3/17, 3/24, 3/31)
Half Semester – 7 dance lessons – $70 (may take any 7 classes from 1/13-5/5)
Daily Rate (drop-ins) – $15
Stephanie Gilliland, described by the LA Times as one of the most inventive minds in LA dance, is a West Coast choreographer and solo dance artist. She has founded and directed two dance collectives and her own companies both in New York and California, including the highly acclaimed TONGUE/contemporary dance. Her work has been presented throughout the US and abroad, and she has received grants and awards from the NEA, the Irvine Foundation, California Arts Council, Annenburg Foundation, Dance USA, and many more. Stephanie has served on the dance faculties of UCR, UCI, Loyola Marymount University, Mt San Jacinto College, Riverside Community College and the Idyllwild Arts Academy where she is currently in her fifteenth year as a teacher of modern dance technique, yoga and dance composition.
