We were saddened to learn that Dr. Robert (Bob) Kr

We were saddened to learn that Dr. Robert (Bob) Krone passed away on September 15. With Bob’s passing, we are reminded of the enduring legacy of his parents, Max and Beatrice (Bee) Krone, the founding family of Idyllwild School of Music and the Arts (ISOMATA), the former name of Idyllwild Arts. Bob remained active with Idyllwild Arts, serving on the Board of Trustees, the Foundation Council, and the Associates of Idyllwild Arts Foundation until his passing.

Congratulations to Linda Santana for completing her first year as Chair of Idyllwild Arts Academy's Visual Arts Department, having succeeded David Reid-Marr. Santana began teaching at Idyllwild Arts in the fall of 2013. She had been hired to reintroduce printmaking to the Visual Arts Department's curriculum, after having studied at the University of California, Santa Cruz, and the University of North Texas.

For #WorldHumanitarianDay we honor the work of our Head of School Marianne Kent-Stoll and her husband, Don Stoll, of our Admission and Marketing offices, for their work in Tanzania. They founded www.karimufoundation.org/ in 2008 and for 13 years have built schools, hospitals, and clean-water systems in northern Tanzania.
