A Celebration of Life Concert for Dr. Doug Ashcraft
Join us for a heartfelt celebration of the life and legacy of Dr. Douglas Ashcraft, a beloved member of our community whose profound impact will resonate for generations to come. Doug served in several roles, including esteemed piano faculty and Dean of Arts. From 2012 to 2016, he took on the critical role of Head of School following the retirement of Founding Head & President William M. Lowman. During this pivotal period, Doug’s guidance, insightful perspective, quiet resolve, and standard of excellence made him a deeply valued and respected leader within our institution.
This special concert will feature works performed by renowned alumni who studied under Doug’s tutelage, as well as esteemed colleagues who shared the stage and studio with him. Together, they will honor Doug’s passion for music, his commitment to excellence, and his legacy as an educator and mentor. Join us as we reflect on Doug’s extraordinary contributions and the enduring inspiration he leaves behind.
