Mixed Media Collage Workshop for Teens
February 1, 2025 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm PST
Led by Idyllwild Arts Academy Visual Arts Department Chair Rachel Welch, students will have an opportunity to work with a variety of materials to create an art piece around the theme of personal identity in this FREE two hour workshop for teens. We will work with layering materials, using symbols to represent aspects of each person from old magazines and books, adding words to incorporate our thoughts and feelings, as well as the addition of painting and drawing to complete the finished piece. Time at the end of the class will be reserved to share our work with the group. Creativity and exploration will be encouraged in this exciting workshop. RSVP to admissionteam@idyllwildarts.org
