Marbling Silk Scarves

In this highly interactive and collaborative workshop, you will create marbled designs on silk scarves.

During the first day, we will discuss, demonstrate, and practice patterns and color combinations that work well for marbled silk scarves and other textiles. You will have ample practice time to experiment with paper and develop your vision in your own 15” x 24” marbling tray.

On the second day, we will begin working in pairs on the larger  trays: 23” x 36” for working with cotton, and finally, the 16” x 64” scarf tray for silk.

On day three, we will continue scarf and textile production with an emphasis on advancing marbling skills, practicing more nuanced designs, and refining your color palette.
