Harry Trantham began his teaching career 27 years ago in Linz, Austria on a Fulbright Teaching Fellowship. Since that time, he has taught in New York City, Philadelphia, South Carolina, and California. He has a B.A. in German Literature and International Studies from the University of Oregon and an M.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language from the City College of New York. Harry served as a founding member and ESL Department Chair of the Washington Heights Expeditionary Learning School (WHEELS) in New York City in 2006 and a charter member of a renaissance school in Philadelphia in 2010. He is currently a full-time faculty member of the Accelerated English Program (AEP ). He has been at Idyllwild Arts Academy since 2016.
