Nicole Disson
Nicole Disson is a producer specializing in live and immersive performance, art-infused film, and cross-genre works of fine art. Disson has produced projects for a wide range of creative makers, including Mike Mills, Zoe Cassavetes, Alma Har’el, Benjamin Millepied, Lita Albuquerque, Quentin Dupieux, Isaiah Seret, Orville Peck, Aurelie Saada, Raine Allen-Miller, Ariana Delawari and Berénice Eveno. Past work includes producing for: VOGUE, Free The Work, L.A. Dance Project, The Getty Museum, Laguna Art Museum, Mercedes-Benz, Spotify, Saatchi Art, and NOWNESS. Films Disson has produced have screened at SXSW, Marfa Film Festival, Cleveland Film Festival, Brooklyn Short Film Festival, and Boston International Film Festival, among others. JUNIOR, a web-series she produced, was nominated for the Gotham Award for best short form series. In 2009, Disson created THE SERIES, a monthly immersive art event that brought artists together to create new works of multi-disciplinary collaboration. This regular series of site-specific performances lasted for six years and originally took place at the Standard Hotel DTLA, but later moved to the Ace Hotel, DTLA. She currently works in development at Viva Maude, a film and TV production company founded by Tessa Thompson.
