This two-week intensive focuses on the complete dancer. You will be submerged in the art of dance, with daily classes in ballet, pointe, jazz, modern, tap, musical theater dance, choreography and technique. Dancers will be divided into two levels on the first day of class after a placement audition.

Your dance faculty are all working professionals and will bring a rich diversity to your workshop. They will coach you on technique and performance. In class and lectures, instructors and guest artists will encourage you to open your mind and your body to new forms and expression, and help you understand how to bring energy and confidence to your performance. Classes focus on technique, artistry, and the overall understanding of what it is like to train in a professional environment. Classes are rigorous, so expect to be challenged and excited by the opportunities to greatly improve your skills.

Tuition, room and board: $3,165 per session.

Student Performance
Saturday, July 8, 10:30 a.m.

Get on your feet and get ready for two full weeks of dance and art! Improve your skills as you learn fun and exciting new moves in jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, hip-hop and musical theater. Improve your flexibility and technique, and get the tools you need to become a better dancer and performer. Create art-based on dance and movement using different mediums. Your two weeks will culminate in an entertaining performance for family and friends to enjoy.

This course is the springboard for the high school Dance Intensive, so two years of dance experience is required. Be prepared for a lot fun and a lot of work.

Tuition, room and board: $3,165
Lab fee: $50
