Early in her career, she worked in TV production and remains affiliated with the National Association of Minorities in Communications.
Dana has a long history of community service, and has been recognized for her many contributions in advocacy for disenfranchised teenage girls and victims of domestic violence. Most recently, she was asked by Pasadena CityCouncilman John Kennedy to chair the “Business Committee for Racial Equity,” a committee formed in the wake of George Floyd’s death to address racial equity within businesses and nonprofits in Pasadena. She is a committed woman who exemplifies the adage that “to whom much is given, much is required.”
