Ellamarie Quimby is an educator, artist, and organizer who brings over 15 years of experience in school, summer, and community settings, including Washington, D.C. Public Schools, the University of the Arts, and Interlochen Arts Academy. She joins us from Appel Farm Arts and Music Center in New Jersey, where she served as Director of Camp Staff & Programs. Ella is dedicated to creating supportive, equitable spaces for young people to make mistakes, grow into their identities, and make their world a better place through the arts. She holds an MFA in Photography from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, in addition to an MAT in Art Education and a BFA in Photography from the Corcoran College of Art & Design.
