Laura Robertson

Vice President Facilities, Safety & Campus Operations

Laura Robertson has been a member of the Idyllwild Arts community since2001. Her early career, spanning the mid-1980s through the turn of the millennium, in commercial and residential real estate development as well as project and property management, provided an extensive administrative and operational foundation that has proven invaluable in her more than two decades of leadership at Idyllwild Arts.

Laura joined the organization as an Executive Assistant, serving as a key partner to both the President and the CFO. From 2010 to 2016, she transitioned into capital project management, successfully directing major campus milestones, including county approval of the Campus Master Plan, construction of the Akaloa Health Center (Idyllwild’s first LEED-certified building), and the design and construction of the landmark William M. Lowman Concert Hall.

In 2016, Laura was named Director of Facilities Management, driving significant operational advances across maintenance, housekeeping, and security divisions. Appointed Vice President in 2019, she now oversees all capital planning, facilities management, safety services, food service, and transportation operations.

Laura is deeply dedicated to the overall well-being of the Idyllwild Arts campus, working to effectively align our organizational needs with essential operations. A standout feature of this is our private fire brigade (ERT), which brings a unique level of safety and protection, ensuring a resilient, proactive, and exceptionally well-prepared environment for the entire Idyllwild Arts community.
