Ashes of the Lotus by Kaylinn Lee (Dramatic Arts ’27)
The Korean classic novel Janghwa Hongryeon Tale meets the mythology of a grim reaper Gangrim, the Messenger in a newly reimagined play! One character from each of these tales cross paths as the accused and the judge in the afterlife’s celestial court, offering comfort to the vulnerable while posing questions to society.
Prejudice and Pride by Mara Vahanian (Dramatic Arts ’27)
A celebration of the Queer artists in our community through poetry, journal entries, music, painting, and more. The diversity of art within this special showcase reflects the diversity within the LGBTQIA+ community, and explores Queer grief, joy, and self-discovery.
