IAA’s Dramatic Arts Department presents their spring play, the dramatic comedy “Marvin’s Room” written by Scott McPherson. This heartbreaking and life-affirming off-Broadway hit, later adapted into an Oscar-nominated film, is the hilarious and wondrous portrait of a terminally ill woman’s commitment to loving others, from her dying father to her estranged sister and troubled nephew.
Directed by Dramatic Arts faculty member Jeanette Knight. Cast includes Tia Arras, Camila Huijsmans, Chengran “Jordyn” Huo, Sophia Lumen, Lucas Macedo, Alena Markushina, Aya’an Muhammad, Kye Nolan, Eleanor O’Leary, Percy Piccolo, Lux Plischke, Mara Vahanian, Yi Pei “Pansy” Wu, and Yufei “Gloria” Wu.
