Our Academic Support services empower students with the tools they need to succeed in high school and beyond. We offer personalized guidance in developing strong study skills and organizational habits, effective time management strategies, and meaningful goal setting with ongoing progress monitoring. For students facing academic challenges, we provide targeted support to help them overcome obstacles and build confidence in their learning. Whether a student is striving to stay on track or reach new academic goals, we’re here to help every step of the way.
Our College & Career Readiness services help students plan for life after high school with confidence. We provide individualized support for college research and applications, including guidance tailored specifically to the arts, such as audition preparation and portfolio development. Students also explore career options using interactive tools, receive help crafting professional resumes, and practice interview skills. In addition, we offer comprehensive support with financial aid, scholarships, and resources to make all postsecondary pathways more accessible.
Our Social & Emotional Support services help students navigate the challenges of high school with resilience and self-awareness. We provide a safe space for students to explore personal concerns, build coping skills, and develop emotional well-being. The Counseling Center also can also work with students’ personal providers to coordinate their care at school, and can provide referral information for students who want to begin a relationship with a local or telehealth clinician. Peer mediation opportunities encourage healthy communication and conflict resolution among students. We also offer tools and strategies for managing stress, including mindfulness practices that promote focus and balance. In times of urgent need, our team is trained to respond quickly and compassionately to crises, ensuring students receive the care and support they need. If needed, counselors will make outside referrals for more specialized treatment support and options.
