Are you a creative, passionate collaborator eager to explore emerging technologies and experiment with multiple art forms? Flex your innovation muscles with the InterArts major at Idyllwild Arts, where you can build your skills across arts disciplines, utilize cutting-edge technologies, carve your own multidisciplinary pathway across arts departments, and gain access to all faculty and facilities.
The InterArts department also houses our Creative Writing program, where students wield the written word as a tool for discovery, developing the courage and skill to express their authentic voices. Guided by experienced faculty in immersive workshops across every genre, students hone their technique through bold experimentation, close reading, and thoughtful revision, and share their work with a supportive community through performances, publications, and readings.
Idyllwild Arts Academy is an internationally acclaimed boarding arts high school where education is guided by the belief that art is the greatest teacher of humanity, and equips students (grades 9-12 & postgraduate) with the tools to leverage their own imagination to change themselves and the world around them.
