Join Julia Keefe (Nimiipuu), and Dr. Marshall Hawkins for the first session of our annual Michael Kabotie Lecture series! Our speakers will share a special presentation and discussion about Indigenous Jazz, its history, and its future, including a special musical sneak peek of Thursday evening’s performance of “Hemyu’mu’kotsat: Honoring Indigenous Jazz Matriarchs” in Krone Library. A Native foods luncheon will be provided.
