Kimberly Blaeser (Anishinaabe, White Earth Nation), is a Writer, Photographer, Scholar, and the Founding Director of Indigenous Nations Poets. Kimberly will perform recent poems, including works from her award-winning collection Ancient Light, and will underscore the healing and activist roles Indigenous poetry can play in our imploding world. Her performance will also include her nature photography and the short poetry film, “Poems for a Tattered Planet,” featuring members of the national Indigenous Nations Poets organization. A Native foods luncheon will be provided.
