Please join us for a Writer’s Week Craft Talk with special guests Janet Fitch and Amber Tamblyn at the Idyllwild Arts Summer Program! This event is free and open to the public. 

Janet Fitch is the author of the #1 national bestselling novel White Oleander, which was translated into 24 languages, selected for Oprah’s Book Club, and adapted into a feature film. Her published works also include Paint It Black (also widely translated and adapted into a film), young adult novel Kicks, and two epic novels of the Russian Revolution, The Revolution of Marina M. and Chimes of a Lost Cathedral, in addition to many short stories, essays, articles, reviews, and contributions to anthologies. 

Amber Tamblyn is the critically acclaimed author of seven books across genres, including the bestselling novel Any Man and anthology Listening in the Dark: Women Reclaiming the Power of Intuition. Tamblyn writes cultural criticism for The New York Times and is an Emmy and Golden Globe-nominated actress and director known for The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants and the award-winning Paint It Black.
