Scott Hooten
Scott is a 37-year-old father who specializes in database management, volunteer organization, and grassroots fundraising. He fell headfirst into the nonprofit sector back in 2013 and never looked back. His recent work history includes 5 years as the database specialist for the Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center in Rancho Mirage, including positions held at Eisenhower Health and the Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert.
Volunteer work is one of Scott’s biggest passions. As the president of a small nonprofit, he has worked with dozens of volunteers, and helped to raise over $1.2 million dollars for pediatric cancer research over the past 8 years through the organization of an annual charity event that combines charitable giving with online personalities and entertainment.
When he’s not working, Scott is usually spending time with his wife, his 3-year-old daughter, and their two-month-old puppy. He enjoys cooking, chess, video games, reading, and writing.
