In this two-week art intensive, you will explore acrylic and watercolor painting, graphite and charcoal drawing, pen and ink, oil pastels, contour drawing, color mixing, portrait projection, grids, batik, mixed media and collage, figure drawing, and plein air sketching. You should be open and willing to examine new techniques and work with different materials. Use your talent and commitment to art as a springboard to grow as an artist and find your own creative process.
Our Visual Arts classes do not require any type of assessment or portfolio to get into the program. Instructors will work with your child at the level that they are at. Your child will improve and learn new skills whether they are a beginner or have been an artist for years.

Shadow puppetry is an ancient art form from around the globe. This master class from professional Puppeteer Tania Yager of Twisted Heart Puppetworks, teaches participants basics of construction, lighting, and performance and explores advanced shadow play for art and theater.
The Multi-Arts day program challenges children ages 5 to 7 to use their imaginations to translate creative ideas and images into visual art, music, movement, and creative drama as separate disciplines as well as through integrative arts experiences.
