Marlene was born and raised in Southern California and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of California, Riverside. She joined Idyllwild Arts in the summer of 2022 as the Adult Program Coordinator and rejoined as the Program and Events Coordinator in the fall. Marlene enjoys collecting comedic socks, transforming life experiences into poetry, traveling, and catching the sunset on evening strolls.
