AEL: A Night of Bossa

Join 12th grade Jazz Music major Seb Olsen for this very special event, made possible by a student grant from Arts Enterprise Laboratory (AEL)!
“A Night of Bossa” will be a truly immersive sensory experience celebrating Brazilian culture. The evening’s entertainment includes a jazz quartet performing a variety of Bossa Nova tunes, accompanied by select vocalists. Performers include Seb Olsen on saxophone, Cainan Birchim on piano, Richi Rubio on drums, and Alexander McLaughlin on bass, with Dramatic Arts students Leah Scott & Luca Mehl and Contemporary Voice students Hailey Sagay & Shea Liu singing. Culinary Club President and Dance department senior Adin Joseph will be teaming with Director of Dining Services Chris Stroud to produce an authentic Brazilian menu of churrasco-style meats, refreshments, and other sides.
