For over 20 years, Susana has been working with students, particularly those with learning differences and students with significant social and/or emotional needs. As a credentialed School Psychologist, she specializes in assessing individual cognitive, academic, and behavioral profiles and designing interventions and accommodations that encourage student success. She is a proponent of data-based decision-making practices that promote high academic and social/emotional outcomes based on individual student needs. Susana is experienced in working with children with trauma, foster youth, children with disabilities, neurodivergent students, LGBTQIA+ students, and English language learners. She implements a strengths based approach when working with children.
