Join us to celebrate Idyllwild Arts alum Nate Lowman at his gallery opening for Parking at the David Zwirner Gallery in Los Angeles!

The opening reception will be held on Saturday, September 7, from 6:00pm–8:00pm and the gallery exhibition will be on view from Sept. 7 to Nov. 2.

Parking will be Lowman’s first solo presentation in Los Angeles since 2016. The exhibition follows the artist’s recent acclaimed exhibitions in 2022 at David Zwirner New York and in 2019 at David Zwirner London. David Zwirner Books recently released a monographic publication documenting these exhibitions, along with other recent work, that includes new writing on the artist by Lynne Tillman and Jim Lewis as well as an interview with Lowman by Andrew Paul Woolbright.

Nate Lowman’s work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, the Centre Pompidou, the Whitney Museum of American Art, Palais de Tokyo and Palazzo Grassi. Lowman’s work has been the subject of solo exhibitions at Midway Contemporary Art, Minneapolis, MN, Astrup Fearnley Museum, Oslo, Norway, Brant Foundation Art Study Center, Greenwich, CT, Dallas Contemporary, Dallas, TX, FRAC Champagne-Ardenne, Reims, France, Aspen Art Museum, Aspen, CO, Massimo de Carlo Gallery, London, UK and Milan, Italy, Gagosian Gallery, New York, and David Zwirner Gallery, London, UK, and New York. He lives and works in New York City.
