Delirium Musicum, a dynamic self-conducted chamber ensemble and recent recipient of the San Francisco Classical Voice Audience Choice Award in 3 categories, will return once again to present a concert to our IA community and the Idyllwild community at large on December 1st at 7:30pm in Lowman. Their last performance had our audiences up on their feet in wild applause, and was a vibrant expression of a “different” kind of art that inspires and leaves audiences feeling like they’ve been transported to a place dripping in creativity. There is very little out there that makes concertgoers feel this ALIVE, and our students will have the opportunity to experience this electricity firsthand.

Our String students will perform a piece alongside members of Delirium as a part of their performance on December 1st in Lowman. This will be the culmination of 2 days of masterclasses and rehearsals that breakdown the fundamentals of chamber music, collaboration, and creativity in a self-conducted chamber orchestra.
